　　The first drug tests were held by the Olympic Committee during the 1968 Games in Mexico City, and only one athelete was caught for alcohol use. But by 1972 Munich Games, testing had become more widespread and seven athletes tested positive for banned drugs.

　　国际奥委会在1968年墨西哥城奥运会上进行了第一次药检，只有一名运动员因为饮酒被查处。1972年的慕尼黑奥运会上，国际奥委会更广泛的进行了药检，结果有7名运动员被查出服用禁药。
