　　The most famous doping case of the 1980's concerned Ben Johnson. In 1988 Canadian Ben Johnson tested positive for steroid use at the Seoul Olympic Games and lost his gold medal. He was the first superstar to lose a medal and doping in sports became a public issue all over the world.

　　20世纪80年代最著名的兴奋剂事件发生在本-约翰逊身上。1988年，加拿大的本-约翰逊在汉城奥运会上由于服用类固醇药检呈阳性而失去了他的奥运金牌。约翰逊是第一个被剥夺奖牌的超级明星。自此，体育比赛中的兴奋剂问题成了全世界的公众问题。
