　　Pele - King of Soccer

　　Pele was the only soccer player to have played in 3 World Cup winning teams.

　　As a Brazilian soccer star, he was regarded as one of the greatest footballers of the 20th century.

　　He made his debut at age 17 in the 1958 World Cup and scored 6 goals in 4 games. He scored the only goal in the quarter-final win over Wales. He went on to score a hat-trick as Brazil beat France in the semi-final, and added two more in the victory over Sweden in the final.

　　During the 1962 World Cup, Brazil still managed to retain the title and at the 1966 World Cup, Pele was often a target for rough treatment from opposition defenders and was carried off injured.

　　At the 1970 World Cup, his team was regarded as the greatest football team of all time. He scored fifteen times in five games. In the final, he scored the opening goal and got his third World Cup Trophy by defeating Italy 4-1.
