BEIJING, Aug. 24 (Xinhua) -- Beijing Mayor Guo Jinlong and his London counterpart Boris Johnson ascended the podium in the National Stadium in north Beijing on Sunday night, for a brief ceremony marking the handover of the Olympic Games' host baton.
