Spanish pair defeats defending champions

  (BEIJING, August 23) -- Spain's Saul Craviotto and Carlos Perez were crowned in the Canoe/Kayak Flatwater Kayak Double (K2) 500 meter final on Saturday, August 23.

  The Spanish pair finished the race first with a time of 1:28.736 minutes, just 0.091 seconds ahead of defending champions Ronald Rauhe and Tim Wieskotter of Germany.
