In China, people are engaged in purchasing new year goods ahead of the Spring Festival, which falls on Feb. 7 this year. Moreover, celebrations are held overseas as well. The 2nd Spring Festival temple fair for overseas Chinese in South Africa was held Feb. 2 and Feb. 3 at the Brightwater Commons Center in Johannesburg to greet the upcoming Chinese Luner New Year.
