Nigeria qualify for women's soccer tournament

　　JOHANNESBURG, March 15 - Nigeria beat Ghana 2-0 on Saturday in Abuja to book a place in the women's tournament at the Olympic Games in Beijing later this year.

　　Cynthia Uwak opened the scoring in the 38th minute and made sure of top place in the African qualifying group with a second goal two minutes from time.

　　Ghana, who finished runners-up in the group, play off against Brazil for the last place in the 16-team tournament at the Aug. 8-24 Games.

　　The playoff will be on April 19 in Beijing, the day before the draw for the men's and women's tournaments.
