  (BEIJING, August 24) -- Samuel Kamau Wansiru of Kenya set a new Olympic record of two hours and 6.32 minutes in Men's Marathon to claim the title in this event on August 24.

  Jaouad Gharib from Morocco also broke the previous Olympic record to take silver in two hours and 7.16 minutes.

  Tsegay Kebede from Ethiopia crossed the finish line in 2 hours and 10 minutes to claim the bronze.
